What is Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a very gentle but powerful technique to help people to overcome a variety of issues such as Stress and Anxiety, PTSD, Emotional issues, Social anxiety, Health anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Fears and Phobias, Weightloss control, Stop smoking, Pain relief and many more issues.

I work with you to resolve any issues you may have that has been holding you back from being the person you want to be, to help you to gain control of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to feel confident and happy again.

How does Hypnosis work ?

Hypnosis is a pure state of focus, in which an individual can experience an increased receptiveness and responsiveness to their inner experiential perceptions. It is a state of heightened suggestibility in which a therapist can use positive suggestions to influence their client’s subconscious mind, while their conscious mind remains relaxed. This promotes positive life style changes and is brought about with the co operation of the client.

If you have ever been absorbed in reading a good book or watching a film, or realised you can't remember driving from a to b, by simply day dreaming and staring into space then you have probably been in a hypnotic state!

Within the subconscious mind lies our emotions, memories, our automatic body responses, habit patterns and our most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us. It is these deeply held patterns and beliefs that drive our decisions and shape our lives and the quality of our perceptions. When we desire to make a lasting, positive change in our lives, it is these subconscious patterns that we must change.

By tapping into the subconscious mind, it is easy to release negative deeply rooted negative limiting beliefs installed from childhood or any life experiences, and change the subconscious mind to feeling calmer, relaxed, confident, self assured and positive.

Hypnosis is a safe, proven and effective tool for directly accessing the power of the subconscious mind, it is very simple but a powerful technique.

Can a Hypnotherapist control our minds?

Absolutely “Not” all a Hypnotherapist is, is a facilitator of change that the client uses to achieve the desired outcome.
Hypnotherapy is “Not” stage hypnosis. During hypnosis you are perfectly in control of what you are doing and you will have a clear memory of the session. In other words, you cannot be made to do anything that you do not want to do and you will be completely aware of what is happening throughout the whole process.

What happens in the Session

Just like any therapy session, hypnotherapy begins with a conversation about you, what you would like to achieve in the process. Once the goals have been clarified and I have learned a little bit more about you as a person, and to highlight your expectations, your goals and specific problems that need to be worked upon. We can then work together to achieve your goal.

Will it work?

Hypnosis is a collaborate effort with us working together in partnership to make positive changes and to achieve your agreed goals. This is achieved through hypnosis which will enable and empower you to bring about the positive changes and positive outcomes that you desire.

You have to be 100% committed yourself in wanting help and to be open minded to new ideas and then we can work together, depending upon your issue you also have to help yourself by practicing the self help EFT techniques that I will teach you.
