Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings
By making a booking for a Hypnotherapy Session with Colette you agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions as set out in this document.
2. Commitment
Hypnotherapy sessions all rely on commitment and motivation from both the therapist and the client to get the best results. Part of the progress occurs in the consulting room and part is achieved through homework. As the client, when you agree to undertake therapy sessions, you also agree to engage with the process, practice self help techniques at home, and listen to any self hypnosis MP3 provided at appropriate times. It is through this commitment in partnership with the therapist that you will see the best results.
3. Therapy Sessions & Fees
Each standard hypnotherapy session lasts approximately 1 hour.
Please note the first Hypnotherapy session is 90 minutes, I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation, which takes place before the Hypnotherapy session, whereby a case history is taken and a conversation about what you would like to achieve in the process and what your goal is with Hypnotherapy. Please allow yourself enough time for this session.
My current fees for Hypnotherapy sessions are provided upon request. Prices may vary, depending upon your issue what you need help with. I also offer Programs for Anxiety, Confidence building and Weightloss control, all prices differ. Hypnotherapy is a gradual process, it is not a quick fix after one session.
For face-to-face sessions, a deposit is required to secure each booking (the deposit is non-refundable). The remaining fee for the Hypnotherapy session can be payable before the session or at the end of each session by cash or by bank transfer. For online sessions, payment must be paid in full in advance, this secures the booking.
If the client has paid in advance the deposit for a Program which consists of fixed sessions, the client has the option to not go ahead and will be refunded the amount that was paid, provided if 48 hours notice is given prior to the first hypnotherapy session.
4. Appointments
You commit to attend the appointments that we make. There are two good reasons for this.
4.1. Your attendance at the appointment is part of your commitment to the on-going progress.
4.2. If you do not cancel in a reasonable time then you have stopped someone else having that appointment.
4.3 48 hours notice is required if you cannot make the appointment, the appointment can then be transferred to another day and you will not lose your deposit.
4.4. Forms of payment accepted are Cash or Bank Transfer.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Colette’s cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours notice of cancellation. This can be done via text, messenger through facebook / Colette’s Complementary business page on facebook or by email to Colette.therapist@gmail.com.
5.2 Full payment fees or gift payments (Hypnotherapy Treatment fees paid for by another person) expire 3 months after the date of payment. Please ensure that the fees are used for the hypnotherapy treatment within this period
5.3 Appointments booked less than 24 hours in advance cannot be cancelled or rescheduled without the full session fee being charged.
5.4 If the client has paid up front for a Programme for all sessions and the client cancels on the day of the appointment, the session will be charged in full for the hypnotherapy session. Please note : If you wish to change, postpone or cancel the hypnotherapy session 24 hours notice must be given, to enable Colette to transfer the appointment slot to another client.
5.5 If the client has paid for the deposit to secure all sessions for a Programme. 24 hours notice must be given to transfer the appointment to another day, the deposit will be lost if the Hypnotherapy session is cancelled on the day or less than 24 hours notice and the remaining amount will be charged for the Hypnotherapy session for that day. The minimum period of cancellation allows Colette the opportunity to offer the cancelled session to another client.
5.6 All paid Programmes, deposits of Programmes or paid sessions expire after 3 months from first payment of the first session.
5.7 Any requests for a refund for an advanced paid session cancelled prior to the agreed 24 hours notice will be refunded by bank transfer to your account.
5.8 If an emergency requires Colette to cancel your session, as much notice as possible will be given to you. If this notice is less than 24 hours you will be entitled to a full refund for the session if you prefer not to reschedule.
6. Arriving Late for an Appointment
If you are running late, please let Colette know as soon as possible. The therapist will do her best to make a full session available, but this often depends on appointments subsequent to your booking and so cannot be guaranteed. If your session needs to be re scheduled due to your late arrival then the deposit is non refundable. Any online bookings or “no shows” paid in advance will not be refunded.
8. Confidentiality
Between the client and Therapist everything will be treated in the strictest confidence with the following
exceptions:
- Self-Harm: Your therapist may need to contact your GP if it appears that you are suicidal or intend to carry out serious self-harm.
- Abuse or Injury to a Minor: Your therapist is legally required to report any abuse towards a minor to the appropriate authorities should you divulge any such information to me.
9. Standards of Behaviour
Colette will treat you with respect and not to abuse the trust you place in her. He/She will use best practice at all times in your mutual interest. In return, you undertake not to harm yourself, or any other person, including your therapist, or any property belonging either to the therapist, the practice or any other person.
You agree not to come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications prescribed by your doctor. If you do come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs or demonstrate violent/abusive behaviour, Colette reserves the right to cancel the session and refuse any further therapy sessions, and the full session fee will be payable.
